Recurring billing (subscriptions)

Recurring billing is when a buyer agrees once to pay on a repeating schedule, and the charge then happens automatically at each interval until someone cancels. It's the payment setup behind subscriptions.

Instead of asking for money every time, one agreement at the start covers every payment after it. The schedule is usually monthly or yearly.

How it works when you sell from your own website

Picture a subscribe button on your website. A buyer clicks it, agrees to the price and the schedule, and pays the first time. From that moment the charge repeats on its own. The buyer doesn't come back to pay again, and you don't ask again either. The company that handled the first payment charges the same buyer on the same schedule until the buyer cancels or you end the subscription.

Why it matters to a seller

A one-time sale pays you once, and then you start over with the next buyer. Recurring billing turns one yes into income that repeats. You don't have to win the same buyer over again next month. They already said yes. That makes your income something you can predict. You know roughly what's coming in before the month starts, and you can plan around it.

How Coin Moebius handles subscriptions

If you want subscriptions on your own website, you're in the right place. Coin Moebius is a subscribe button you paste onto your website. There's nothing for you to build or run behind it. You connect a payment account you already use that can run repeat charges, and the company behind that account runs every renewal. The money goes straight into your own account every time. We never hold it, never pause it, and never take a piece of it. Our fee is a flat fee, never a percentage of your sales.

We think that's the only honest way to do subscriptions. Your buyers pay you, and we keep the subscribe button working. If that's the setup you want, see how the Coin Moebius subscribe button works.

Get paid without the plumbing

Coin Moebius is the part behind the button, so you do not have to build it.
