Buyer email

When a buyer pays, we sometimes email them — a download link for a digital product, or a receipt for a mailed payment. The Buyer email tab is where you make those emails look like they came from you, not from us.

What buyers receive, and what we keep

We email a buyer in two cases: to deliver a download link when they buy a product with a file attached, and to send a receipt when you mark a pay-by-mail order received. Everything on this tab controls how those emails look. There’s a live preview on the right so you can see your changes before you save.

The Buyer email tab, with a live preview of the email buyers will get.

We’re a payment router, not a customer database: we don’t store buyer email addresses. The address is used in flight to send the one email and is never written to our records. That’s why this tab styles the email rather than managing a contact list.

Your brand

The Business name is shown as the sender and as the email’s heading; it defaults to your project name. Reply-to email is where a buyer’s reply goes — leave it blank and replies go to a no-reply address (reaching neither you nor us), or set your own address if you want buyers to be able to reach you.

Email wording

Optionally set the Subject line, Heading, and Message. Leave any of them blank to use our clean defaults with your business name filled in — so you can ship without writing a word, then come back and customise the tone later. The preview updates as you type; Save changes when it reads right.
