Goldbacks
Thin, spendable notes with a tiny amount of real gold inside them, used as physical money.
A Goldback is a physical note with a small, exact amount of real gold layered inside it. The idea is to make gold spendable in everyday amounts. Instead of a heavy coin worth a lot, you have a thin note worth a few dollars of gold that you can actually hand to someone. People who care about sound money use them as a real, inflation-resistant way to pay.
Because a Goldback is a physical object, paying with it means mailing or handing it over, not swiping a card. Most payment tools have no way to handle that at all.
Coin Moebius does, through its pay-by-mail option. A buyer can choose to pay in Goldbacks, ship them to you, and you mark the order received when they arrive, tracked like any other sale.
